"Visited for a family funeral recently and the staff were so kind, polite and helpful. Greeted with a smile at every occasion and a warm Cooke on check in. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy and plenty to choose from. Gym was well equipped and air conditioned. Pool was warm and clean. I stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which were clean and spacious. "I was in a single room at the top of the house. Very clean but dated. Continental breakfast was left in the room, there’s a fridge with milk, yogurt, cheese, flapjack, ham, juice and a roll. Cereals, tea coffee and sugar supplied. Comfortable bed. I stayed two nights and room serviced when I was out. I was at the back of the property so away from any noise from the main road. Good position for getting into Bristol. Small car park, maybe 4 cars. Hungry Horse pub opposite."
