"This place is absolutely amazing! The hotel and the grounds are beautiful upon arrival. The desk porter, Esthfanios (spelling? Sorry!) Was lovely and so kind. The rest of the staff were incredibly nice, check in was smooth, and the room was lovely. It isnt a new building, so it isnt perfect, but you can't expect it to be. The hotel hosted a number of events while I was there, and they did such a great job! There was always coffee, tea, and water available, and it was nice sitting by the fire...

We had booked a four poster room but didn't get the same quality of room we had gotten in our first visit, by that I mean; there was no bathtub, the room was slightly smaller, the noise from outside was significantly louder than expected. We had a lovely stay though and I definitely recommend it."

"I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "
