Dog friendly and even though dogs are not allowed in the restaurant they set up a table in the lounge for you so your dog can accompany you and provide table service. Catered to my needs being gluten free and requiring soya milk and even made my decaffeinated coffee just how I liked it. Will definitely stay again 😄 xx"

"This was a slightly more expensive guesthouse than we normally book which is definitely reflected in the room, which was beautiful. "To start off, I didn’t get a code to get into the property, couldn’t get into the room So trying numerous times to get in contact with owners was impossible and even hotel.com couldn’t get in contact We set off to the property to see if we could speak to anybody, and we spoke to a woman who managed to get the codes for us Great room, great bath Just to service was terrible and the staff wasn’t that helpful "

"We stayed here on a long weekend with the family and dogs - everything we could have asked for - good location with the Langdales just up the road (easy parking, pay and display), does packed lunches which were superb, very good evening food, good bar and lovely staff who were attentive, very friendly and helpful. "We went as a family of 4 and our stay was great. No problem at all except we got a bit cold at night, but that’s it! Everything else was great. We got free parking just up the road courtesy of the b&b management and breakfast was also included, which wasn’t mentioned on the initial booking. So bonuses all round really!"

Great location, short walk to village incl pubs and chippy, also access to walks (which pass through livestick fields so dogs on leads). Grizedale forest was a short drive away with really good (long & short) walks, better for dogs off leads. "
