"We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and setting. However - beware of hidden charges. We booked a family suite for a 2 night stay through Expedia. We are a family of 3 with a 14yo but when we got to the hotel they were expecting an infant and charged us an extra $52 per night supplement ($104 in total which was an unpleasant surprise). We had not had this problem in any other hotels during our trip so this was disappointing (hence the 4 stars vs...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located close to downtown monte verde, the staff are very friendly, the landscaping is pretty, the rooms are very clean. Free breakfast and free parking on site. It was very affordable. "

"Beautiful hotel. Great room for a family of 4. The breakfast buffet very good with many options. Friendly staff. The property has Pizotes which are cute animal fun to watch. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Monteverde. Nice pool area but I only wished they had a Hot Tub. "

"A beautiful, well run property that is hyper close to town center. The staff were incredibly helpful in making local recommendations and the breakfast was perfect before an adventurous day in the cloud forest! "

"Perfect place in the forest. Feels very nature everywhere you walk. Nice path to go breakfast up the hill. So relaxing. Bathroom a bit outdated but clean overall. "

"The bed was super comfy and the AC worked well. We had a large room with a shared balcony. The location is close to town with shops and restaurants, but it’s uphill from town, so the return walk got old pretty quickly. "

"Perfect. Not only did the staff wait for us as we were a late check in, but the room above and beyond what we were expecting. Everything was beautifully cleaned and well maintained, and the water pressure in the shower was especially perfect. In the morning, breakfast turned out to be the most amazing breakfast I’ve ever had! And I’m a foodie lol! The cooks deserved a standing ovation!! The gardens were also very well kept, and we enjoyed watching the butterflies and birds as we ate. Monte verde...

"The room was very spacious and clean at a unexpectedly low price (which included breakfast), and the staff (two people I dealt with (young man who worked front desk in afternoons and nights and young woman who worked morning and early afternoons) were amazing in how they helped me to make sure I got rides for tours and picked up to go to next town since B&B isolated ) "

"Comfortable overnight stay. Hotel has adjoining bar and restaurant which is very convenient. Special thanks to Eric for great margaritas! Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you, Andrea! The only drawback is parking that is tight and if not super careful one might scratch the vehicle. Overall great stay. "
