"The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Our cabin overlooked the trees with birds galore. Plenty of trails around the property with a fish hatchery, flowers, fruit, etc. we opted for breakfast the first day but didn’t realize we were to tell them on the next day. Not sure what happened. Defiant would stay again. Pool was freezing so we couldn’t enjoy it very much when we were there. "

"The gardens on the property were very beautiful and well maintained. The little cabina was spacious & very clean. Lots of amenities. The host/caretaker is awesome! "Casa Cielo is a unique experience that typifies Costa Rica's laidback lifestyle and joy of the environment. We stayed 2 weeks and were awakened every morning by a pair of the local blue jays banging on the windows. We were visited by a troupe of Capuchin monkeys, a bold, red, tufted ear squirrel and a variety of birds. A gecko and baby iguana were in the bedroom- never caused problems, it was cool. Any organic food remains (apple cores, banana peels, watermelon rinds) were thrown out the window...

"The place is great for 4 people, others would have to sleep in living room and table only sits 4. First night I got little sleep because of extreme wind noise, but depends on weather conditions. There is no AC so place gets very hot during the day. Views are amazing!"
