"Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. "Tarcisio and his partner are so lovely, and the space is full of light and warmth. We chose the cheapest option of rooms. The walls were thin and our room was small, but our stay was comfortable, and the garden was full of life! "

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property - around 5 p.m., it was to discover that, in spite of our reservation, there were no rooms available. The manager/owner was very apologetic for the mix-up and made several calls to secure alternate accomodation for us. However, that was more expensive and we needed to move from one place to another to cover our 4 day stay with 2 nights in each place. It was pretty disappointing!"

"Beautiful property near the Cloud Forest Reserve. It feels secluded but it’s close to everything. Check-in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. The 3 bedroom cabin was cozy and lovely especially the outdoor seating area. Would definitely stay again!"

"Very well run operation by Yami and her family. They treated us like family. I recommend you opt in for the delicious breakfast each morning. Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place. "

"What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"
