"Overnight stay before 6.30am flight from Birmingham airport. Small but very comfortable room with everything you might need for a quick overnight. For a real budget hotel the Bar is nice with plenty of seating and the food from the short menu was absolutely fine. Also - all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing value for money. Literally 5 minute stroll to the terminal which is wonderful when you need to be there for 3.30am !"

"Before staying at this hotel I had read about how they had done work to improve it and effectively this was clear in the rooms. They were clean and the bathroom was in a new condition. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. However there are a couple of areas that could still use improvement. The mattress was thin and thus hard as I was you feel the support underneath. "Place was clean inside shared bathroom, kitchen and dining. My room did not have a mirror so it was very inconvenient make sure you request a room that has mirror. Overall inside was very comfortable. To be honest outside was not the best area but once you are in the house it’s very comfortable. It was better than other places I rented for the money.There’s also a convenient store next to house which I found great since I didn’t rent a car. Very busy street and lots of stores to grab a bite. "Not happy as could not get hold of anyone to let me into the house/room. The outside condition is not great. Overgrown garden etc Not sure neighbours are happy about it being rented Tried to get refund but as hotels.com could also not contact the vendor they could not give me a refund."
