"Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "

"We picked a very busy day to need a bed in Durham as it was the university open weekend. La Spada was reasonably priced & good enough, despite quite a few adverse reviews. The hotel is not set up to take guests after 10pm, a fact not highlighted when we booked at 11.30pm & then tried to get in. Fortunately we were admitted. There was no breakfast service."

"An old farm house, located directly on a crossroads, with views over the countryside. The room was clean, pleasant, and comfortable. It was more a guest house than a B&B, with the main rooms, including the kitchen, available to everyone. Guests avail themselves of supplies and facilities to make their own breakfast. "What a lovely place to stay. All self service but received on point instructions from Dave. We stayed in Room 6 and it was really nice. I would only ask for bigger towels and firmer pillows. There is on site parking which I would say allowed 2 cars if people parked right. Location was good too, not far from beach "
