"Stayed here for Mountain West bb tournament. Location perfect, 10 to 13 minute walk to Thomas & Mack, but most of the walk is across the Thomas & Mack parking lot. Casa del Sabor taco restaurant (drive through/walk up) and AM PM store right next to hotel, very convenient. Hotel very clean and updated (lots of airplanes taking off but hey, it's right next to the airport-bring earplugs). No worries about traffic on getaway day, it's on the main airport highway. "I like to stay at places out of the way and not so busy and quiet, Thunderbird Hotel was just that. Some may think shady but I like small out of the way places like that. It was clean and quiet and check in was quick with a polite front desk person."
