Set right up in the rain forest, we were able to see mackaws, toucans, a sloth, an agouti, a coati, iguanas, monkeys and about 50 other birds (the merline app helped identify them) - all without even having to leave the apartment! The apartment itself had a lovely ample verandah which was fully covered so that even when it rained (we went in rainy season) we could sit out and read/do yoga/watch nature.
