"Good stay at the Pear Tree Inn! Staff were great, calling me as I was arriving late and sending across a AVT invoice quickly (as there is no one there on checkout)! There is no hairdryer in the room - I didn’t realise this until the morning and there was no one downstairs to ask! "

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"The room is spacious and was very clean. But, the bedding did not smell fresh. Easy entry using codes. Host was responsive. The front driveway of the property was very dirty. Garbage stacked up against a wall. Lots of noise from vehicles even late at night. I would not recommend for a holiday stay. However, it fit my needs as it is located a short drive from the hospital. "

"Travelled as a family, was met on arrival to hotel, staff very friendly, gave the kids free lollipops& showed us to our room. Room was clean and comfy, just what we needed, shared bathrooms but didnt bother us as we didnt bump into anyone. Microwave, kettle& some cutlery in the room. Basic but for the price really good especially as its close to tube station. Area is a bit rough, rubbish etc everywhere but hotel itself was clean& tidy. "
