"The place looked so so, but room was very nice,. Right on the beach. I would go back."

"Fairly new facility. Easy check in. The rooms can be a bit noisier than other chains I have stayed in. The door is not sealed against hallway noise. I could hear people moving in the room above. But otherwise it was quiet & restful. Breakfast included warm eggs & sausage, a pleasant surprise. Breakfast here better than other chains. I would stay here again!"

"Great property! This was my 2nd stay in the past 2 months. I love its close proximity to the beach and the strip. Housekeeping was great and always available when needed. Can’t wait to return when I come back to Myrtle Beach. "

"When we checked in the initial room was not cleaned at all… however, when I confronted the desk worker about the issue she immediately locked up and came to check out my observation. We were then given a new and clean room. The worker was very kind, concerned, apologetic and did fix our issue. She took pictures of the dirty room and handled everything very professionally. "

"Booked an extra night on a whim, but couldn't stay in the same place we'd already spent 3 nights so I found this place for a great price. I would've given them 5 stars across the board had I been notified ahead of time that I also had to pay a 150$ deposit per romm (had 2). I happily paid the 300$ totally refundable deposit but I would've still liked to have known ahead of time. The lady at the desk was fantastic about it though.. Will probably stay there agim if there's ever a return trip."

"Wonderful hotel. Clean and quiet. Bed was a little soft and we asked for extra comforter which was no problem. We could smell the delicious breakfast daily but didn't have time to check it out. Fresh fruit on lobby - help yourself. Recommend!"

"We've stayed at The Islander many times over the years. It's a great place to stay mainly because of the location, but they could put a little more time and money into refurbishing the place. They are quite a bit behind the neighbor next door, Ocean Isle Inn."

"The staff was great, customer service was wonderful. What I did not like upon booking any information that indicated that locals would be required a $200 cash deposit. It was my daughter 15th birthday and I was not prepared to give a deposit. However, I did give it, but although it was only a one night stay, that did alter the plans of surprise for her birthday."
