It is less than a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station, but conversely this does make it quite noticable when trains are arriving/departing. As a deep sleeper this was not an issue, but for someone who is more prone to sounds at night, this could be problematic. You can hear the trains ( underground subway) all day and night up to 1230 am- ish.
