"This is a very cute unique place to stay. It is a little bit of a walk from the central touristy area of bacalar and a lot of touristy restaurants, but honestly it was great exercise for us and we enjoyed it. Plus, it’s only a short walk to the lagoon where you can swim for a daily fee of 20mxn. The hallway and bathrooms are a bit of a tight space, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. "I really adored both Bacalar and this hotel. The design is so wild and whimsical, the staff are so sweet and helpful, the beds are nice and comfy and the location is perfect. Oyo Hotel Marías did process the deposit for a king suite per the contract. The balance was to be paid upon arrival.
