"We live in northern Belize about 35 miles south of Bacalar and wanted a nice quiet, low-key get away. Just for R & R. We cooked some things before we came and made other things while we were there, but also enjoyed the local fare. The pictures were accurate. "The hotel was under construction, but the worker's where mindful of the noise. The rooms where great, lots of space. The only thing missing was closet, iron and hair drier in the room, this was a inconvenience because we had to share the iron. Staff was super friendly and helpful with regards to sights and dining options."
