"I've stayed at Wombat's many times when visiting London for work, as it's just near my office... I've always been very satisfied with this place... It's fairly new, it's clean and comfortable, and the rooms are modern... The bathrooms are always great and the showers are nice and hot... The only thing I did not give Wombat's 5 stars on was "comfort", because sometimes the heaters in the rooms can be too hot, and it's difficult to get to sleep... Anyway, that would be my only complaint about...

It was completely my fault, I had booked a room at the Oyster Fleet for the right day, but I had got the date wrong and booked my stay for the following week! The receptionist was extremely helpful in rectifying my mistake, even though it took some time to sort out. This a great hotel with great food available "

"The place is very clean and the pods were good. Very easy to find and figure out. The matress can be better. But for the price I wont complain. No main plugs inside the pods but there are usb ports to charge. But they are very fiddly and damaged. Small nudge and they get loose. Might need repairing. Overall good. Will book again in future. "

Getting access to room was different, you have to go to Thai Restaurant, where you are given codes to enter the hotel area. Staff took me to the room, which was good but no reception. "Wonderful staff, the room was very warm and comfortable! Shared bathroom and kitchen were clean too! It felt like more like a large house than a hotel, which might be great for some. The staff had every possible amenity I required and I'm grateful for the extended stay despite my late check in. Just be aware that as it's close to the high street (not necessarily a bad thing), you might get the odd busy traffic noise near you. Good, decent place to sleep for the night for a decent price. "
