"It's a bit further out than I am used to but tbh a short walk to DLR makes getting anywhere easy. Place was spotless. My only negative was there was no milk left even though there was coffee and t bags.. Lots of codes to remember to get in somaje sure you always have a copy to hand. "

"Middle floor bathroom ran out of loo roll, was mouldy, and had no pole for the shower head to be held in. Lower floor had no loo roll. Bedroom was old and a bit knackered and it was a mattress not worthy of a student pad. The communal areas are filthy, despite being charged a “cleaning fee”. Room had three electric heaters on the floor, two of which are wall mount heaters. Floor had holes where the wood had separated. I’m truly shocked this site has this as an option."

"Accommodation was excellent value for money. A lot of traffic noise and only 1 pillow each on our bed. However the whole process was great, well communicated with and easy collection of keys and access to building."

"Excellent Location. Literally across the street from Liverpool street station. Can be noisy, especially with sirens since the Bishopsgate police station is around the corner, but didn't really bother me. Would probably stay there again, but with no lift, I would ask for a lower level floor (I was on 3rd)"

"Really great apartment - a real treat to have a whole flat in London - it was spacious and had all we needed. Would definitely book again! "

"Although not a bad looking place. When the roof started leaking, I called the emergency line 8 times!! 8!! No response until I told them that there was so much water coming in that by morning they wouldn’t have a place left to rent!! Breakers were popping! No lights in the kitchen! Water pouring in from the ceiling fixtures! Above us alarms were going off like world war 3!!! Still not a text or phone call! NOTHING!!"

"The apartment was nice, clean, and perfect for our trip. There were 4 of us, and we stayed for a week. Check-in was simple; once we paid, they sent us the gate and door codes. The noise level was loud during the day, but that was expected for the location. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was hot as hell, especially at night. They only had 2 tiny fans that did nothing. The ventilation fan in the smaller bathroom was broken, which didn’t help with the heat. Also, they did not stock...

It's a little bit outside of the usual tourist city places so it's a little quieter, especially on the weekends. Chic boutique hotel, central to Shoreditch

"Hotel was clean, fairly modern, and centrally located in Shoreditch. Only downside was the relative distance to the nearest tube station, but there was a line for busses right by the hotel, which ran service to both Old Street and St. Pancras. Staffing is minimal, basically housekeeping, a 24/7 restaurant/bar operator (appears to be serving the snazzy equivalent of ready meals?) and none of the usual facilities onsite (no gym/pool/sauna, etc) but the hotel does partner with a nearby gym to offer those to guests. Would strongly recommend they get the second elevator fixed though, as it was out of service for my entire stay and the lack of staff to question about its repair timing make me wonder how long it has been out. Overall, good spot for a trip to London, if you don't mind the smaller quarters and are either solo or can comfortably share a bed with travel partners. (The bed is quite comfy, and is larger than a standard King mattress, roughly a 2-meter square.) The blinds, lights, and TV (which can be connected to via Chromecast over the wifi; be sure to not use a VPN when trying to connect though, as it won't work then) are all controllable through the provided iPad mini (appears to be a 5th generation, locked down to their proprietary software. Wish they'd block out the camera to be less potentially invasive if compromised, though.)"
