"Beautiful place- in room onsen was lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Well organized. I enjoyed the daily teas and coffee in the lobby as well as the ice cream. The Kaiseke dinner was a very cool experience to try local food in a nice presentation."

"For what I paid, the room was tremendous value. It consisted of all of the necessities, as well as a few perks I found unique compared to other places I've stayed at: 1) video on demand (great selection of anime movies for 500 yen) and 2) free shuttle bus to Gotemba Premium Outlet (the best outlet I've ever been to). Breakfast is free but I found it lacked in variety and quality (can't complain since the room was so inexpensive)."

"This hotel offered breathtaking views of the lake. My husband and I opted for a room with a private open air bath which was amazing. Note though that the bath only fits one person at a time, and there is no view of the lake which was disappointing. Instead we faced a weird parking lot. The staff is very kind and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The food has good options, but it is the same dishes everyday. The free wine and beer was a nice touch! "Good service from all staff, food good and lovely sea views. Hotel was built 50 years ago and is showing its age. It felt like we had gone back in time but had good time nonetheless. "

"The staff was so lovely and polite and very accommodating. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. They provide plenty of shuttles to get around to the bus and train stations. Also very accommodating for food. The onsen and amenities were lovely. Toyoma handled our check in and was so wonderful. Our dinner server was Bishnu and he was also so so helpful and kind"
