He was very apologetic about the minor leaks from the roof because of the heavy rains. It is like visiting your dear grand-aunt's house, very cosy, quaint, tidy, warm, clean. It is also right next to the Bell Shopping Centre so very handy for food, groceries, anything. "

"The property is a bit dated but well maintained, kept clean and in order. It worked out for our family looking for a relaxed and easygoing stay. When we walked for a morning stroll, we caught a beautiful and clear view of Mt Fuji. With rental car, we had access to a selection of restaurants, shops, and activities within the Lake Yamanakako area. But 7/11 is also just a few minute walk and the hotel offers breakfast and dinner for an affordable price. We would stay here again!"

"It’s my first time staying in a hostel with shared toilet and bathroom facilities. It was a good experience as everything is clean and there are only 5 rooms at this place. It’s just diagonally across the station. You get beautiful views of mt Fuji from just standing outside. "

"If it is in the very heart of things—the train station, multiple bus routes, all manner of dining options, with a view of Mt. Fuji to boot (though our view was partially obstructed by an electric pole and transformer). It is a bit hard to find, and gave our cabbie a run for his money (we were driving in from another train stop). Better signage is a must! "The staff are very accomodating and very welcoming. They picked us up from and sent us to the train station for free. They offered us ( 5 people) a ride with a ¥2000 fee to lake kawaguchi. They also offered to pick us up from the Fujikawaguchiko masjid back to the guesthouse for the same rate later that night but they did not turn up . Instead, they told us to get our own taxi as they have picked up another customer. Luckily we got a help from the masjid cafe staff who called a taxi for us. We...
