"Simple accommodations that meets your basic needs well. Lobby is spacious and pleasant like the guest rooms. We were a group of 5 and we had a lot of space in the room. My only complaint was that they didnt have enough towel racks and no trash segregation. Minor issues. Amazing view from the rooftop as well. Would definitely return."

"Although Samurise was on the other side of the town, it was very nice. We liked that a 711 and a family mart is right next door. The local bus stop was also very close by, easy to get around. The hostel had very limited hours wire staff. We would have to wait until 11 am just to rent a bike and they were not flexible with renting to us earlier. So a lot of waiting around. Wish they could be more flexible considering we were staying there anyway. "

"The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. My first experience at a traditional Japanese hotel and I was floored with how warm, friendly and helpful the staff were. You can tell they are trying to renovate as much as they can with what they have, and the common areas look lovely. The open air onsen was incredible as well. It was overall such a nice experience. "

"Very close to Kawaguchiko station. Clean and tidy. Has a microwave, a mini fridge and a kettle with a few options for tea. There are two convenience stores about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and Lake Kawaguchiko is about a 15 minute walk. Staff aren’t present on the property outside of cleaning (I think) which worked okay. We checked in and out by a tablet at the entrance. The bunk bed we had wasn’t super comfortable, but overall the place is definite worth the price. It was unfortunate...
