"We usually stay at the Nugget. Its a nice, relatively inexpensive hotel and since we've stayed there a few times we're kind of familiar with it. I will say the drinks there and on most of Fremont Street have really gone up. That takes some of the fun out of it when its $25 - $30 for 2 drinks plus tip!"

"The Grand hotel, Downtown Las Vegas was absolutely perfect for us! It’s Close enough to The Fremont Street Experience without the noise to keep you awake. The hotel did have a nice little note On the mirror saying they have ear plugs available if needed. No need for the ear plugs because it was so quiet. "This is a decent property. I was not aware of how noisy it would be. I read a review and found that it is right in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience. Whoa! Noisy as heck. . .but I brought my ear buds with me and listened to soothing stuff on my phone. It worked. I am a roll with the punches kind of person and I was going to make things work.
