"The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are very spacious with lots of extras that you wouldn't expect. The only downside was the horrible smell when you enter the hotel, I expect this is due to the age of the property but it is a real shame as it is very off putting. Breakfast was only average and if I was returning, I would definitely stay in this hotel but I would buy breakfast elsewhere."

"Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. The room was huge! Didn’t have breakfast just a coffee in the room. Would highly recommend this hotel. There is a fantastic Italian further up the road where there are always queues to get in!"

"Dirty walls, couldn't check in on time, broken handles in room. Photos are nothing like what is on Expedia. Walls had dirty wipe marks all over them. I felt my skin crawl just sitting on the bed. I booked somewhere else straight away. Horrible place!"

"The property would benefit from additional soundproofing because it is located above a bar that is open until 3am. There were incidents of knocking on the apartment door in the early hours, probably by someone who had gone to the wrong door. I did report that the shower was leaking from the showers head pipe. The main windows overlooking Mathews Street need a serious exterior cleaning."
