"Terrible management, bad conditions. This is not a hotel. This is a hostel. Pictures on the website are different from the offered rooms. During my stay, I felt a strong smell from the toilet drain. If you want a room similar to those pictures, you are charged extra. During my stay, a guy from reception took of his shirt and stayed like that for hours. Area near the pool is very cute, breakfast is nice. On the other hand, I wish I could have my money back."

"I love staying at this spot. It is the second time I stay there with family and friends. It is a safe place and extremely accessible. You can se the christ from the balcony, it’s a 2 minutes walk to the train station, 5 minutes walk to the mall and to many other stores. There are many stores around the area and you can find anything you may need within 5-10 minutes walks. "All things considered, this is a really good hostel. I mean, first of all it's really cheap. You can easily get a bed for 6 quids. Sure you have to pay for other things like towels or padlocks but they are also really cheap. Drinks are pretty good also. I was surprised that I had AC on the room, most hostels in Brazil don't have them. And this is very important because it's really hot in Rio. You wouldn't believe how hot it gets, even at night.
