Clean room & close to a Metro station (Cinelandia). Other than that, there’s nothing open in surrounding areas. Good if you want to stay close to Santos Dumont airport.

We booked this hotel for a quick layover. The walk to the hotel is very sketchy and you feel unsafe. They are hundreds of homeless people outside. There are not towels in the rooms and after walking back down to the reception the staff was very annoyed by us asking for a towel ?! The room is not very clean or nice.

We asked for a high up room...got 3rd floor. Only one towel for 2 guests, so we had to ring reception but we had to go down to sort it out after just arriving. They shut down the entry card, so we were locked out of our room, again we had to go to reception to sort it out! Bathroom ran out of gel in the shower, so not checked or refilled. I normally scrimp on hotels, (We got a room in Sao Paulo, breakfast and room service for 4 nights for half of what we paid for Ibis 2 nights!!) This time paid for a rubbish service at the Ibis...not again ever.

Apesar da proximidade com o aeroporto Santos Dumont, o entorno do hotel apresenta-se bastante abandonado, com lojas vazias, moradores de rua por toda a calçada.

Minha experiência foi bem rápida.. basicamente ficamos 5 horas no hotel. Pagamos pelo café da manhã, mas eu não recomendo.. a comida era ruim. O pão estava passado, parecia até o que tinha sobrado do dia seguinte. Não achei o ambiente com aspecto limpo. O ovo mexido estava muito ruim e com gosto muito forte, coisa que eu detesto. Enfim, realmente é um hotel para 1 diária no máximo. Tirando isso, não sei se vale a pena, princtpagar 42,00 por pessoa para tomar um café ruim.
