"It is a truly 5 star hotel - great room, amenities, and service. I tried all onsen facilities - the private one on our balcony, and two public ones with stunning views. Both kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were great. Cold drinks, coffee and ice cream were all free in the lobby. The only small issue was to the transportation. The beds were comfortable, bathroom had all we needed and the balcony gave us the most amazing view in the morning, definitely get a room facing the water and mountain. Breakfast had a great range of choices, so I'd definitely recommend travellers to include breakfast when booking the hotel given there aren't many restaurants open for brekkie nearby.
