"Wayyyyyy too much going on there. I ended up booking another hotel. It may have been because it was NYE weekend. I will shout out the manager. She was extremely nice and helpful. I really commend her for handling everything. She definitely deserves a raise!! "

"Originally booked 1 night and ended up staying for 3. Really wonderful hostel in a beautiful building. Rooms are clean and comfortable and everything works well. The location is fine, if not ideal--lots of grocery stores nearby though not restaurants, 13-min walk from the metro, and centrally located between Copa and north Rio--which I think helps keep the price great. The common areas are quite nice, if not particularly social. Thanks for a great stay."

"Good location, bad hygiene, dirty toilets, basic shower, thin mattress, rooms need cleaning, cleaning lady puts all your stuff from under your pillow on the bed for everyone to see, but doesn't make your bed"

I had no Brazilian currency so I asked if a credit card would be accepted. He said the hotel would pay him and I could pay them with my card. The hotel paid the taxi but could not reach the manager re credit card. So they said I should pay the next day.
