"My family and I stayed here two nights just before Christmas. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner offers a shuttle bus during the morning hours to Gora Station, which is very helpful for getting to Hakone ropeway. Local restaurants were a bit unaccessible as it was off-season but this inn has its own great little restaurant kitchen. We had two dinners here and tried almost everything on the menu. "Had a very good vacation for many days here. Anytime I had questions, they would respond kindly. I was very grateful for having control of my room temperature. I was able to stay cool during hot summer days. My only warning for future customers is to bring earplugs if noisey nights are an issue. Emergency vehicles are across the street and many motorcycles like to make extra noise as they drive by. But that is not the fault of the B&B.
