"We had a long travel day the day prior so having our own private onsen to relax in along with the traditional meals was a lovely way to start our tour of this beautiful country."

"We had a fantastic stay at this property. The location can’t be better: near the main shopping/restaurants in the area and the train station. Happy we stayed here rather than up in Gora, which would have made travel and food more difficult. We got a private bath, which we enjoyed. We also splurged on the kaiseiki meal, which we enjoyed immensely. Breakfast was also very good: more western options than we expected. We had the updated Japanese/Western room and thought it was luxurious. I’ve seen others complain thing were worn and old-fashioned but we didn’t really find that the case. Highly recommended "

"A wonderful 5 star hotel. The lobby area is spacious and the check-in process is organized using kiosks with someone from the hotel to guide. The private Onsen on the 7th floor can be booked using their App which was explained during the check-in process. The buffet was good and had a lot of variety that caters to westerners and locals. Take advantage of the waterpark / Onsen across the street which is offered for guests staying at the hotel. The wristband for the waterpark is given to guests in the lobby area. The waterpark has a lot of pools with different themes (coffee, peach, green tea, and wine). The public Onsen has breath taking views of the mountains and you keep your swimming suit on the whole time which is suitable for families. You must cover your tattoos before accessing the waterpark. The back of the hotel is a nice garden that lights up at night for a lovely night stroll. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely come back again"

"There really isn’t anything nearby our hotel. no convenient store. It is very quiet and peaceful. Be mindful of this before you book in Gora Otherwise this place is exceptional. It is very clean. We were stunned by the interior design and lighting design. Everything feels brand new including both main building and Ayakan, which is where we stayed. Dinner were 6 course meals. Food came very fast and we have our next course within seconds of finishing our previous course. Would "
