"The staff was friendly. No AC but it was cool at night so it was not a big deal. Relatively noisy but we are deep sleepers. Walking distance from a lot of cool things or near the train station. "

We’ve got a free upgrade into an annex building around the corner, very nice, spacious and clean room. Quiet space. Walkable distance to all main interest points. "The property was hidden away on a side street. The room was clean and in decent condition. There were some marks to the head board. The private bathroom for our room was along the hall as opposed to being en suite was the only thing which stopped this from being a 5 star review. The whole staff are very good and responsive. I would recommend it to my friends, as location is great: 15 minute walk to collosseum, trevi fountain is about similar, pantheon a bit further like 30 minutes."

"THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS HOTEL with 5 floors !!!! Why is this not mentioned in the listing anywhere? Is this a deliberate omission to mislead customers? We arrived with 2 suitcases and were allotted room on 4th floor! And the old man in charge couldn't/wouldn't help us to carry the luggage up. And would not give us a room on a lower floor. He couldn't speak English at all (not his fault but I would think for a hotel with international customers they should at least make an effort to hire...
