"Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords "

"The Generator is fantastic!! I stayed in one of the pods. If you haven't done it, you have to try it! I slept amazingly well and they are so comfy and cozy! The staff is very helpful and easy going. The breakfast is delcious and not too expensive. Save some $$ and pre-buy your breakfast at the front desk. :) Neat history...fun place...good price!!"

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "Such a beautiful apartment fully stocked with all of the essentials. We were warmly welcomed, despite our late arrival. The hostess was sooooo kind and friendly!! The apartment is centrally located, close to restaurants, shopping and of course, the beach!, yet was very quiet at night time. The beds were very comfortable. We will stay again when we return to lovely Holland!"
