"The Generator is fantastic!! I stayed in one of the pods. If you haven't done it, you have to try it! I slept amazingly well and they are so comfy and cozy! The staff is very helpful and easy going. The breakfast is delcious and not too expensive. Save some $$ and pre-buy your breakfast at the front desk. :) Neat history...fun place...good price!!"

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "Hotel in a very good location, just a 15-minute walk from the main city center. The rooms have a decent amount of space, and the bathrooms are clean. Both staff members who assisted me were extremely friendly and polite. I would stay here again without any issues."

"I booked this hostel because it was closest to where my son lives. It's in a lovely neighbourhood with loads to do in the evening and good transport links into the city and convenient for visoting my son too. My room was large and very clean, and was cleaned daily during my stay which I hadn't expected. The staff are really friendly and it was perfect!"
