"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Service is awesome. Provide shuttle services to train station. They have great vegetarian for breakfast and dinner but need to let them know in advance. Provide drinks and snacks in the evening. Love the room and onsen. "

"This is function more like BnB than an actual hotel. The check in was confusing, staff were non existence, there is only one bus line that run every 30min, and completely stop about 8pm. The sidewalk is narrow and share the same road as cars, it's especially dangerous at home with limited views. There are no diner nearby and everything closes at around 6pm. "

"The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rustic atmosphere. The amenities were good, and the staff was very friendly and spoke great English. The private hot spring was easy to book a time slot for, and was very relaxing. "I really like this place. It was very cool and relaxing while there. The service was great and the lobby was very relaxing with very comfortable furniture. The place was a little walk uphill from the bus station and getting taxis were not easy depending on when you arrive. The downside was the shower took a long time to get hot and the water from the shower head in my room felt like sharp things because of the shower head. They should be changed. "初めて宿坊に宿泊写経や瞑想ができます。朝はお祓いをすると講中安全の守り札を授けてくださいます。内風呂、露天風呂もあり（浴衣の柄は選べます。ボディーシャンプー、シャンプー、コンディショナー、ブラシ、綿棒、バスタオル×１、手ぬぐいタオル×１あり、垢すりなし＝宿泊用を持って行って正解）夕食や朝食は大山の豆腐料理をとても美味しくいただきました。ただ一つ冷蔵庫がありませんでした（アンケートに記載しました）周辺には飲料の自販機がありますが、コンビニはありません（部屋には温かいお茶あり）それを知っていたので、オヤツは下山時にこま参道で芋ようかんや餅まんじゅうを購入。また宿に向かう下り坂の途中に良弁まんじゅうのお店があり単品で購入。美味しくいただきました。お陰様で素敵な大山参りができました。また機会があれば泊まりたい宿坊です。（Expediaで予約できる大山の宿坊は今のところココだけかも知れませんね）ありがとうございます（感謝）"

"The private onsen was amazing, refreshing, and relaxing. The 12 course breakfast and dinner was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and had the shabu shabu hot and crab dinner the next. The staff was superb. All our needs were met and exceeded customer service. The whole place was clean and quiet. Perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This experience was a very memorable one. Thank upu Hakone Airu. We hope to be back again very soon. "
