"The room was well-kept and comfortable, but too small for the luggage I was carrying (2 bags). I changed rooms and upgraded from the queen-size to the king size bed as to have more living space. "10 CNY for taxi ride from Kunshan South Station to hotel, since it's a small city. But the hotel is outdated, there's Motel 168 down the street much more pleasant at around the same price. Some improvements required for excellence

"The Crowne plaza Suzhou was very clean. The bed very so comfortable and the room was good. The breakfast was superb. Lots of options both Chinese and western. It is located near a shopping centre and also easy access to the metro. There is a walkway around jinji lake accessible from the hotel. We ate 3 nights in the Prince restaurant in the hotel. On 2 occasions, the food was superb. On our last night, the service was dreadful and we waited over 1 hour for food. We asked for non spicy food but it came out so full of chillies that we couldn’t eat it. We ended up leaving the restaurant, very disappointed. On check in, they did not recognise my hotels.com gold membership. Again, I was very disappointed with that. I hope the hotel fixes these issues as it is a good place to stay. "
