"We loved the lodge. It felt very homely. The park is right at the lake shore. The kitchen was equipped very well. Beds were comfortable and shower powerful. A bonus was the TV with netflix and other apps and good internet connection. We would be back when the weather is warmer. "

"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. We traveled with our dogs, so would have liked to have been able to go on walks straight from the house, but unable to due to main road with no path.
