"A great guest house in the heart of Ambleside with secure parking a two minute walk away. Room was excellent, very well decorated ad fitted out. ON-suite was good and the shower was super powerful. Tracey and Kevin were great, super friendly and breakfasst was top notch, loved the big fat cumberland sausage and the poached eggs were excellent. Would highly reccomend."

"We stayed at the Wanslea on a short motorcycle trip to Ambleside. The rooms were spotless and the building is in an excellent location. A member of our party was staying in another hotel but the owners of the Wanslea were kind enough to accommodate him for breakfast. "The Littlebeck Warren is a hidden gem and when next in the area on business I will always come back here. Joanne and Kevin are outstanding hosts, the rooms are comfortable, stylish and homely. It is just beautiful! We had our evening meal there as well as breakfast and the food was delicious and home cooked. I would highly recommend staying here you won’t be disappointed We will be back! "Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future."
