"Really enjoyed staying here so much that we have booked again for November and February. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable. The staff in the pub are so friendly it was a pleasure to sit and chat with them whilst having a drink. The housekeepers are especially polite and happy to help with anything you may need. "Chris, checked us in, and helped us up with my bag and got my daughter a duvet. That was great, as well as the fine full English breakfast. The bathroom fan was dirty and inefficient. There weren’t flannels or anything but 2 liquid soaps. Instructions for how to turn on the shower would have been useful, and no dead giant spider in the bathroom. Parking was not that easy to do, which led to me taking a chance the following morning and getting fined."

"When we arrived we were greeted as we parked up and our bags were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and fresh. We were given a time for breakfast with a variety of options. Food was delicious, hot and well presented. The owners were always available until 7pm and very helpful about where to go if eating out or wanting entertainment. We would definately recommend and stay again however as sisters in our 70's we would ask for a room on the lower floor."

"Very enjoyable stay. Owners are very nice and welcoming and happy to help. Very clean and modern property. Superbly tasty breakfast. Room and en suite of a generous size and comfy bed. Good location, tram stop for getting into the city centre is only a short walk up the road. For us the only downsides were limited parking although we were lucky to get the driveway spot and the road it’s situated on is quite noisy, even at night. Nevertheless we would stay again."
