"We stayed for two nights in a family room whilst visiting family in Preston. The Claremont was clean, warm, comfortable and great value. We were delayed due to a cancelled ferry and they very were accommodating about a late check-in. "

"When we arrived we were greeted as we parked up and our bags were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and fresh. We were given a time for breakfast with a variety of options. Food was delicious, hot and well presented. The owners were always available until 7pm and very helpful about where to go if eating out or wanting entertainment. We would definately recommend and stay again however as sisters in our 70's we would ask for a room on the lower floor."

"We spent 4 nights at The Braemar Hotel, Michael the host was there to greet us, he gave us local information of where to eat etc. We were travelling to Liverpool by train for the day and he was very helpful by giving directions to the train station and times of trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had all the extras to make our stay comfortable. "Excellent location to train station and walkable to other cafes and sites. Hotel was great, staff was excellent, owner was awesome and attentive. No elevator but they helped with bags. Restaurant was great and pub was lively. No issue recommending this hotel."
