"I liked the area, I liked the hotel , the staff and where it is situated. However, one thing rather annoyed me and it’s so simple to overcome There is One very small glass shelf in the bathroom of number 16 which held our tooth mugs only We had to put our toilet bags and my make up bag on the floor whilst using them. Rather spoilt our break in Mode. Thank you. "

"The best place to stay in Preston. A hidden gem, great value for money. 10-12 minutes walk from the station, the room that I stayed in was very tidy and clean. "Stayed in the Ribble Suite it was very nice apart from the Bathroom was very cold only having a small electric heated towel rail you have to leave the bathroom door open with the heat full on in the Suite for a hour or so to warm up the bathroom. our biggest gripe was that the Suite was warm all afternoon but when we returned to dress for dinner at 7pm the hotel heating had turned itself off and the room was uncomfortable chilly reported it to night manager who Forbes the hotel heating boiler...

"We can’t say enough about this wonderful B&B with its amazing hosts and incredible home cooked breakfast. We truly enjoyed Cliff’s and his family’s hospitality, as well as his very dry sense of humor. The B&B is in a great location, close to the water and the main thoroughfare , and Southport is a very pleasant and charming place. Our room was very cozy, tastefully decorated , adding to this memorable stay. Thank you Cliff, we’ll be back😀😀"

"Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"
