"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."

"Wouldn’t recommend at all, although it looked clean and well furnished on the photos, it wasn’t clean, towels were all wet, bath Matt was soaking and smelt stale, shower was broken as well as the shower screen, definitely wasn’t changed before we arrived. Door handles were hanging off the doors and cupboards, blinds were broken, window was smashed, garden was covered in rubbish. The location of the house was also awful, not a very nice area at all. "Great location, room was spotless, staff friendly & efficient. A little noise from passing trains (7th floor room) but didn’t affect my sleep. Didn’t have breakfast but fellow travellers said it was decent & not over priced. Will book again. "

Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena by IHG

"All the staff were just great, so pleasant and so helpful and friendly. We stayed here to go to the Arena and we also stayed in the Holiday Inn Express at Birmingham, and both hotels were immaculate and the staff were brilliant."

Concert Stay

"I travelled for work for a concert that was happening at Co-op Live, as such the hotel was busy but not terribly so. Only impact that may have is on their 3 lifts when trying to go to breakfast and checking out as everyone is doing the same and there can be a 5 min wait for some of the upper floors, as it seems some of the lifts skip floors or go to certain floors in order of when they were called 🤔"

"Parking is expensive and don’t offer discounts for staying at the hotel. Whereas other hotels next door offer promotional rates to use Manchester central NCP car park. Check in speeds could be quicker as we had to wait in excess of 2 hours to check into our rooms after our allotted 3pm check in time. "
