The property was extremely well furnished, very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, even to cook a complete Christmas dinner for us all with all the trimmings. "We stayed in this lovely barn to have a very belated Christmas with friends who live nearby. The barn is very comfortable, warm and cozy.However the kitchen does not do the rest of the property justice. It is dated with a worn cooker and a tiny built-in fridge that is in poor condition. One tea bag and no sugar, not promised but after a long drive it was lucky we had our own. Biscuits and croissants were left though and were lovely.The grounds are run down and we saw no play equipment - however...

"The owner was unaware of our booking as advertised by vrbo. We arrived mid afternoon at portsmouth to attend my son's university graduation, but had no where to stay. We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. My two daughters and myself had no car with us and mo extra money to pay for accomodation elsewhere, or even transport to a different property. "Lovely home, lots of space and the backyard is very quaint. My friends and I rented this for an event happening in the area locally and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location and overall home was. It all felt very new. My only recommendation would be to make sure if you’re from outside UK to be sure to bring your own converter adapters and note that there’s no floor length mirror (we had events to dress up for). The property manager was very quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay....
