Check-in was a little odd, had to walk into the bar & wait a bit. Stayed in room #20 (I think, 1st door to the right upstairs). 3 nights in late-March 2025. Negatives: No USB power. Positives: Massive amount of free parking onsite. Room was super clean & quiet. Room was completely updated throughout. Roomy space with thoughtful design such as efficient space to lay two carry-on suitcases open, stacked. Water was hot. Sheets & towels were super clean. Very good lighting. Very good natural light. Digital controlled heat. Even the provided shampoos & soap were higher quality. Silverware/ceramics were clean & spotless. Kettle was clean. Wi-fi connected once and worked good throughout. Lot's of electrical outlets! Adjustable hand held shower head is always better than a fixed head."

"Very welcoming on arrival. Room was ideal for two of us , clean and comfortable. Receptionists was very informative about helpful when asking about local area for eating etc . Continental breakfast well worth the money quite a bit of variety ."

"Every member of staff we had contact with (reception, bar and breakfast) were so lovely and welcoming. My son who is 4 and has SEN needs finds it difficult in new places, and all the staff just allowed him to be a little boy with no judgement being passed, which as a SEN mother means so much, they all put me immediately at ease. The room was made up with a separate bed for my son too! The dinner we had was adjusted to suit his beige eating habits. There was nothing that was too much! "
