"We liked the private beach and the room size. We realize this is a timeshare but we are not timeshare owners and the value vs the cost we’d expect more. We asked for an upgrade and was told there were none available but the there were very few suites in use. We literally never saw more than 5-10 guest. It should be made very, very clear that this is a timeshare."

"Staff was friendly, drinks were good, resort is right on the beach. We had to wait almost every time we went to the buffet or one of the restaurants. Went to the Spa, had a massage and facial, both were wonderful. Resort is in desperate need of renovations though, I don’t think the Hyatt has put any money into it since it was built in the 60’s, the staff do what they can with what they have. "

The location was within walking distance to important attractions BUT taxis are very expensive SO renting a car is truly something to consider if staying for more than 3 days.
