"Older resort that changed to owners of units. Definitely need a car rental. Pool is the highlight. Washing machine broke and leaked thru out the unit. No problem. Jos their agent was great and was always there to help. Tv in bedroom with the a/c didn’t work. Very hot"

"We had a great stay and the accommodations and house were just as described. The location is in the hills so the views are great. Check in and communication with the owner and property manager were easy and painless. My favorite part was the pool! No one wanted to swim at the beach because the pool was so inviting! We spent most days in the pool after our outings. The rental price was very reasonable for the accommodations, just make sure to include the extra cost for electricity and water usage in your budget though that is fairly reasonable too. "

"Saint Joris Boutique Hotel is a little gem located right next to the Aloe Vera farm, Curaloe. It’s very intimate and provides you with all of the amenities for a great vacation. Stephen and Patricia, the owners live on the premises and are the sweetest hosts. There wasn’t a television in our room but they have them in the common areas. In front of each room, there’s a little seating area where guests can smoke or take in some fresh air. It’s a very comfortable and chic boutique resort. They communicate with you through WhatsApp which was very convenient for me. They help with any questions that you may have and also give suggestions on things to do and restaurants. They also provide complimentary tea which was very useful because we had moments where we weren’t feeling our best. "

"Let me start by saying the villa is a nice quaint villa. The checkin was smooth and quick. Now on to the issues, which there were quite a few. 1. ANTS- ants are EVERYWHERE, even in the beds!! We were told that if we had food or drinks to make sure we cleaned up afterwards to keep the ants away. Well I assure you food is not the issue, the villa just has an ant problem. 2. Beware, this villa charges for water and electricity. Upon arrival we were advised that there would be a fee if we went over a certain amt. We stayed at the villa 4 nights and used under 200kw of electricity, for those that are confused, that’s 4 nights of air conditioning used AT NIGHT ONLY, not a single time used during the day. Upon checkout we get a notification of $195 due for electricity and water. We never used the dishwasher or washing machine nor washed any hair and to add insult we were never even advised of water charge. AND there was no allowance for electricity so you pay for what you use!! 3. The landscapers came bright and early with the trimmers. Imagine our surprise to wake up to that noise while on vacation. When we messaged the management we were told that there was a mixup in the scheduling. 4. The pool cleaning guy just let himself in the house, we had no clue he was coming. Again, imagine our shock at a strange man entering our villa unbeknownst to us. 5 To any people that use wash cloths to shower, please know, this villa does not have them! We had to go buy them 6 no ceiling fans!"
