I did not like that fact that I booked a standard room that I had to pay money to get a beach towel when they have pools on the property. The deluxe apartments the towel was included. The standard rooms need an upgrade bad. No concierge to help with luggage. Sometimes no hot water.

This hotel is definitely overlooked , I have a penthouse suite apartment. I felt safe , comfortable. Staff was amazing I like how they keep the front gate closed at night with two securityā€™s onsite. Downtown you can really walk. I felt really safe I was on a solo trip but I had no worries in this hotel . Room was not bad at all ! Pool area was clean.

Garbage & cigarette butts, empty bottles around both pools. Waitresses rude & don't make you feel welcome, stopped going to restaurant 2nd day.( we were there for 3 weeks) front desk ladies rude and lots of attitude. Louises, front desk were great Housekeeping staff awesome, very friendly. J.J. & Russell also great, bartenders.

The place is near everything and walking distance of things to see and not far to go to visit beaches. You can reach the west end of the island in 60 minutes. We had a small kitchen and used it every day for breakfast and lunch or dinner. We found local place plaza Bieu where you can get local cuisine for $11 so we ate take out from there. The two pools are nice but the bigger ones want you to eat and drink their stuff. Not super clean and room is dark. Bring European plug to charge your phone.

Property was very clean and there is ample parking. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Be sure to have euro converter for outlets and be warned, my steamer broke due to some electrical glitch. Pool area was nice, restaurant staff was indifferent, good value for what we paid. Also, tv in living bedroom did not work but it didnt really matter to us.

Overall not a bad experience. Kind staff, free parking, good pool with a good bar. Appreciated the kitchen in my room. Comes with stove , fridge , sink and cooking supplies. Air conditioning works well. No hot water in shower. Also saw a large cockroach in my room. Did not see any others. Would not personally stay here again. But not bad if youā€™re out a lot. Close to town.

We had an excellent view from our third floor balcony. Great waking up to the sing birds. Air-conditioning was always welcomed on a really hot day. The accommodations were good and room service housekeeping was offered daily. The room was relatively new. Great having a little kitchenette and a washing machine. We had rented a car which allowed us to get a good feel for our local surroundings in Willemstad and the island, and having wheels was especially helpful when getting to the beaches to sunbathe and snorkel. Parking was a tight squeeze but luckily we had rented a compact car that could fit. Also, we meed to mention the nice, no, I correct that... the really nice security guards at the main gate. Although we felt safe during our entire time in CuraƧao, its always nice knowing someone is present 24-7. A recommemdation for the hotel: remotes for TV and AC could be better(had trouble with both remotes) Also, wait staff at the bar could be more attentive to the customers by greeting upon arrival and more quickly serving customers. Ex: on one occasion, waited at the bar for more than 5 minutes(bar was not busy, may have been 2 customers sitting on stools already served). No one made eye contact or even acknowledged us standing there. Left that day disappointed. Tried the following day. Again, took several minutes to acknowledge presence and again bar not busy. Visitors will appreciate improving this. Will note: had one of our best meals at the restaurant on site:) Thank you

Bathroom was the WORST SMELL ever and I used to live in Asia. Automatic door locks were sometimes finicky. Appreciated a room up grade and free ice cream at checking. Pool area was unique with sand around pool very pretty. Front desk staff generally seemed grumpy and bothered by guests.

The property itself is safe and quiet .Bar,food and pool area are nice.Its a short walk to Punda area,but only felt safe during the day when walking there. We stayed in the Ritz Residence last year and enjoyed it enough to book it again this year .The staff is always great and that's one of the reasons we returned.On this trip we found apartment is in need of some maintenance and the IKEA furniture is worn out.
