"Nice hotel set in lovely countryside, very friendly staff. Evening meal was good, although it was a very quiet period which led to no deserts being available which was a bit of a let down. All that being said we had a pleasant stay."

"Changed rooms due to noisy pipes, but they were very helpful about this. Couldn’t ever get through to anyone at reception. Went down to order good, sent the wrong food! Ate it anyway as was very hungry! It was good. Breakfast was good. "

"The Bears Paw is a lovely restaurant with rooms. The menu is extensive and the food tastes great! The staff are lovely! so friendly, so helpful, so kind, they made our stay special. The room was so comfortable, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of space. "

"The hotel looked tired but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice for all tastes. The pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus. "
