"My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend in December and absolutely loved it! The house is gorgeous, very clean, and a great place to hangout. The bedrooms and living room is cozy, and the kitchen was a great space for making meals. It’s conveniently located downtown, so you can walk to the shops and restaurants. Parking also was a breeze!"

"Just had the best weekend at this place!! And definately will be back in the summer to rent the pontoon and stay again. Lake is fairly clear. The following were some of the complaints in the reviews. Read the details in the book before attempting to turn both fireplaces on. I didn’t need to call the owners. "I couldn’t have asked for a better experience staying at this property. We had a group of 17 girls and each and every one of us couldn’t stop raving about the house and all of the amenities. "Property was clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool and foosball table was a hit with everyone. Rooms were nicely set up and felt very homey. Upstairs was warm (I don’t think there was any air conditioning) but it worked out for us because we only used it for sleeping. Fans available in the rooms and open windows during the night cool it to a comfy temperature. We were happy with our stay!"

"The house and property are beautiful and only 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. Carolynn was nice to leave the pool open late September with the weather being so hot! We had a wonderful time!"

"Overall we had a great weekend! The open layout of the house was perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The backyard is truly amazing and we loved having the option of using the hot tub. We did wish the house would have had some blankets for us to use since it was pretty chilly and it seemed like the heat had a hard time keeping up. "

"My friends and I stayed here for a pre-holiday weekend trip. The house and surrounding property were peaceful and the views were stunning. The hot tub and pool table were very nice amenities. First-rate accomodations. Highly recommended! "

"Had relatives from 5 states converge for a wedding celebration late September. Property was great arrangement presenting multiple sleeping arrangements and diverse recreational activities. Could spend time with family for cards, games or hot tubbing. Quite time on the patio or multiple balconies was also a treat."

"We had an amazing stay at this property and the booking next door. Everything was seamless, from the booking to communicating with the host to the check-in and out. We got to use the kayaks and paddle boards, so fun! We even extended the stay last-minute without any delays from the host. Thanks for making the trip a wonderful experience. "The house was in a great location. The house was clean. Not far from restaurants and the downtown area. The neighborhood was quiet. Jay was very responsive. I would love to stay there again if in the area. "

"Overall great stay. Came with 3 college girls friends for a quick weekend. Property was clean, cute and cozy. A few items that the property does not have that would have been nice are an iron/ironing board and a blow dryer. Hot tub appeared new and a great addition : nice to relax in the evenings. Overall house was clean, well equipped and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Union Pier area. "

"Very cozy location just outside of town. Amenities were standard and pricing was affordable. Drive is about 20 minutes to downtown Kalamazoo and nearby Portage. A few suggestions: some darker window covers may be helpful for sleeping as the street light is right out-side. Additionally, verification that there is sufficient stock of toilet paper and kcups (thanks Tom for helping) will make other visitors stay more peaceful. Overall would recommend. Thanks!"

"WOW! Cannot say enough about this property besides our group will be returning. I came for a weekend away with 12 women and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and found everything we could have hoped for and more. The owner met us to show us around the HUGE property and made sure we had what we needed (wifi, thermostats, working the TVs, etc.).
