"Private and peaceful. A great escape with nearby nature and still not too far from city amenities. "

"The main house and guest house are just decorated gorgeously. High end and so comfortable! Relaxing wooded lot a short walk from the beach and short drive to all the fun restaurants, shops, breweries in new Buffalo and surrounding. We wished it was a little warmer during our stay but we’re thankful for the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and hot tub. Tons of seating indoors and out. Will definitely stay again! "

"Nice stay. The resort and town were sparsely populated in late March. But we enjoyed the house and town and took a day trip to Chicago and another day at Indiana Dunes National Park for a hike.One heads up: there is another house on the next street with the same house number as you approach Valhalla. Look for the dark green house on the left ( not the light green house on the right)."

"This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. "We loved staying at this house for a weekend. It was cozy, had everything we needed and the most exciting it had a hot tub! hot tub looked new and was very clear. The place was also clean and cozy. We had an amazing stay and would stay there again! "
