Being in a downtown area I expected some challenges but was never informed as to the $18.00 per day additional parking fee. This of course, added to the cost of my stay. The walkable areas for dining was great! However, the room wasn’t clean. There were wash clothes with makeup on them left by the sink. No hand soap. Gum left on the night stand. We went to the front desk and all she did was come and grab the items left out and said “Sorry the cleaning people must have left early”

I like easy and convenient t was for downtown Grand Rapids activities. The conditioner bottle was empty and staff at the front desk we’re having personal conversations and had to be interrupted to ask for help. Would have been nice if staff stopped their personal conversation and asked if they could be of assistance so guest didn’t feel like a bother. But otherwise overall room and location were great.
