"This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. We brought our dogs with us and they loved swimming in the water. I can't speak to how busy it is during the peak summertime, but we had the entire stretch to ourselves. Loved that! "It was a real nice stay. We had alot of fun.No complaints but a couple of improvement opportunities. We shoveled the entire driveway to improve parking, the top step coming up from the laundryroom is taller than others trip hazard, Bunk bed ladder needs secured."

Great for a winter get away because you can walk for miles down the beach, it's quiet, and the amazing hot tub! Eli is an excellent and responsive host. Would highly recommend!"

They supply most all of your daily necessities, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, shampoos, any kitchen item you can think of… Various coffee makers, crockpots, etc., they have pack ‘n plays, extra sheets, towels & beach towels(located in the pool bathroom). "Amazing home and beautiful property right on Lake Michigan. We didn't need to bring any of the usual items such as toilet paper, paper towel and trash bags, as they were plenty of each. Kitchens were well equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware and utensils. Only a few minor problems. We could not get the codes to work for check-in, but was resolved with a couple of calls to Vacasa. There was a dirty towel in one of the bathrooms and a dirty pot on the stove in the kitchen....

"We stayed with another couple, and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Price difference to local hotels (2 rooms) was negligible so this option was a definite no-brainer. Nice gated community, big clean house with lots of room, and impeccable morning sun patio with a relaxing river view, great for bird watching.
