"Coming from the US, we were pleasantly surprised to find this home had everything we have at home, making for a comfortable stay. House is spacious, clean and has ample room for 5-6 people. A peaceful setting with tons of privacy, great views too. Host was responsive to any question we had. Would absolutely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend!"

The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. Within walking distance to the trail head of the Hellnar-Arnarstapi hike. The cottage was cozy and the beds comfy. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other. There are several little places to eat within a 5-10 minutes...

"The place was relly nice! We got a clear view of the northern lights overhead which was amazing! The view of the horizon was slightly obstructed. But It was definitely secluded and out of the way. Only 4 stars because the highway lights shined almost directly into our window. The cottage was very hot. (Underfloor heating) with no way to turn off. And water had sulfur smell from the source (no fault of theirs), but it was off putting. "
