"This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!"

"Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. Their information wasn’t on the Expedia website cabinet was clean but needs some updating, but this area is very beautiful. Some of the cabins look like they’ve been updated so I’m hoping they get to the one that we stayed in as well. "We rented the cottage for one night. It was a short stay. It really is a cottage out in the middle of nowhere. But the cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, and we were able to see some northern lights. Enjoyed the stay."

"Situated in a beautiful valley. The cottage is small. But it has a kitchen, sink, apartment size fridge & stove, "

"Loved this place. Our 7 travelers were very comfortable with lots of space for all. The views and the setting…. As beautiful as it was peaceful and private. The babbling brook was a wonderful surprise. The geothermal hot tub is a true gem!."

"The stay was lovely despite the cold outside (-14). Had one issue and someone came quickly to help, thank you. Would be very grateful if the property could email entry details proactively on the morning of arrival instead of needing to chase each time without international calls. "Quiet and cozy cottage! Well equipped kitchen. Flexible check in time with clear instructions. Clean bed sheets and towels. Only drawbacks are stains over the whole shower area and thin pillow. "

"We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"

"Check in was easy. The cottage is very lovely with nice windows in all directions. We also got to enjoy the peaceful outdoor hot tub as well. Host communication was excellent. We were sort of stuck because there was an overnight snow storm. But host came to clear the snow for us very quickly. Overall we loved and enjoyed very much of our stay."
