"My boyfriend and I travelled from the US for our first time ever to Iceland. The cabin was super comfortable and the location was perfect for enjoying a lot of the golden circle. The projector movie screen was our favorite after long days of hiking and driving. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Iceland! "We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. We would have loved to stay longer!"

"What a gem! We loved staying here during our spring Iceland trip. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed, and wonderful check in instructions and information. We had no issues finding the property with our phone GPS. We felt safe everywhere in ICELAND but this was located in a gated community. "The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"Just spent a week at the cabin with my family of 4 (kids are 12 and 15). The cabin had everything you’d need for a family trip. Loved having the sauna and hot tub after chilly days seeing the sights. Jon checked in with me right away to make sure we got in ok (we did!). Highly recommend this cabin!"

"The cabin was charming and comfortable, and the property is surrounded by beautiful wild flowers. The sauna heats up quickly and is spacious. The private setting makes for a great sauna session. "We had a lovely, unique stay in that remote cottage. We loved the quietness, coziness and the big sky. Really enjoyed the mountain and sheep in the background. Did I mention we were fortunate to wath the northern lights for hours?"

"The stay wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t wonderful. It was acceptable but slightly disappointing for the cost. The place was ice cold when we got there (roughly 10-12 degrees), and it took about 20 minutes for it to start heating up again. The pillows could probably use an upgrade and the floors left my socks stained, unfortunately. "
